Busy, Busy, Busy

So I’ve been quite busy recently, I’ve even managed to find things to keep me busy at work. Yes I know that’s very unusual isn’t it.

As one of my new years resolutions I decided that it about time that I actually got round to getting some certification so I’ve booked the Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional exam. I always work better under pressure, even when I was a uni I struggled to do good quality revision unless it was a day before the exam and Jamie had dragged me to the library for a final 12 hours of power revision. So now with a date booked I have something to aim for (and something to do during that rather boring Easter holidays), I’m not actually going to tell you when the exam is, but when I’ve passed I’ll let you know.

So that’s work sorted, what extra curricular activities have I been up to. Well on Friday night myself and Phil went to the Forum to see the first two bands of the amazing MySpace Gig Challenge (King Phillip, The Mutiny). It was a great night consisting of some quite good music and rather a lot of beer. The second night of band spotting is to take place on Tuesday when a further four bands can be added to the list. There’s the possibility of one more band if I can convince Phil to go to Atlantic on Thursday but I think I might struggle to convince him. Although such local venues can only do good things to the graph.

So next came the weekend and what have I done, well I played bowls on Saturday and we were thrashed by some old ladies. It was good for the first four ends as we were winning 4-0 due to some fantastic bowling from me, but from then on it went terribly wrong. Next I went home and started work on a new website which hopefully will be finished soon, there’s a few tweaks to me made which hopefully I’ll work on tomorrow at work.

But now I think I’d better go and have a shave, its been a while and I think I’d better make a effort before I go to bed.
