New beginnings
This week wasn’t the greatest that I’ve ever had, it certainly wasn’t helped by being my first back from Andorra, anyway as is traditional after a crappy week I went out for a few beers. When I say a few, I actually mean a lot, I can’t remember much about the night other than at one point Scott was doing karaoke. Come the end of the night I had to be taken home in a taxi as I’d somehow lost the ability to walk. It is fair to say that at this precise moment in time I feel rather terrible, and it is for this reason that I’ve decided to give up alcohol once again for the month of February. Wish me luck as I think I may need it.
On the plus side, being free from the clutches of alcohol will make it easier to concentrate on my training ready for this years Great Manchester Run which takes place on 21st May. I’ve done this race once before and this time I’m aiming to complete it in a time of less than 50 minutes.

This website is pretty rubbish, thats basically because I can’t actually be bothered to post much info on here, hence I don’t tend to get many visitors, anyway after many years of being a member of the Amazon Associates program I have finally received a payment. Thats right today I was greated with a gift voucher for the sum of – £10.40, I could hardly believe it. I’m currently not sure what I will buy but at the moment it is most likely to be the second season of 24 to complete my collection. I’m so happy. If you ignore hosting fees, then my website is more profitable than Chelsea FC.

Everyone loves the internet, it’s great. For those of you who love it so much why don’t you have a go at this excellent internet simulator.
Retro gaming
Are you a bit old skool, is your favorite game in the whole wide world Pac-Man. Then this may just be the exhibition for you, Nintendo are to fund an old-school gaming expo where not only can you look at your favorite games from the past, but you can also get your hands on them. Binary watch
Take a look at this. The Kerala Trance is a watch aimed squarely at us geeks, it displays the time in binary, this is quite a cool novelty watch I’m not quite sure its worth the £100 asking price. How hard is it going to be to work out the time after a few beers.
Beer is bad for you!
Its offical, it makes you do things you wouldn’t have done if you were sober. Don’t drink.

Fedora Core Ver 4
Tonight I shall be installing Fedora Core version 4 on my PC. Its ages since I last used linux, and since my PC is only ever used as a fileserver for backing files up I figure its worth a shot.
UPDATE: Fedora doesn’t seem to be suitable for my needs, I think I will put WinXP back on tonight.
